Remote Desktop For Os X 10.9.5

broken image

I'm trying to upgrade from Mavericks (10.9.5) to El Capitan (10.11) (need at least 10.11 to run TurboTax). My mac is from 2010, so I'm not sure that I want to go to High Sierra. I can't find a working link that actually gets me to El Capitan - and I've seen confusing instructions as to whether I need to start with 10.11 (ore ven going through Yosemite) and then update to a later version of El Capitan, or whether i go directly to the latest version.

10.9.5

Thanks

  1. Nearly perfect I have a specific usage case - I work in a multiplatform environment in which I work on the Mac and on the PC. I don't want to keep changing physical keyboards, so despite the fact that the two physical machines are next to eachother beneath my desk, I use remote desktop to view and operate the PC while working on the Mac.
  2. Download Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac to connect to remote Windows desktops. Operating Systems Macintosh, Mac OS X 10.9, Mac OS X 10.10, Mac OS X 10.8, Mac OS X 10.7.
  3. Microsoft Remote Desktop (Formally Known as Remote Desktop Connection) in MacOS. Microsoft Remote Desktop, a free application from Microsoft, allows you to use a Mac laptop or desktop to connect to and work from a Windows desktop computer that you have RDP access to in your on-campus office or lab.
